How long after a treatment should I wait before allowing my children or pets on the lawn?

Allow the lawn treatment to dry before allowing children or pets back out on the grass. Depending on winds and humidity, it usually takes 30-60 minutes.

What if I notice a problem or have a concern between applications?

Service calls are free for customers on our Full Program Service. Just notify us, and we will respond within 48 hours to resolve the issue.

When should I water the lawn after treatment?

This depends on the types of products applied. We will leave detailed instructions on watering requirements for each treatment as needed.

When is the best time to water my lawn?

We recommend watering during the lawn's natural wet period, usually between 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., to avoid promoting disease and limiting evaporation.

What is the recommended cutting height for my lawn?

Tall fescue should be cut at 3 1/2 to 4 inches. Cutting fescue high promotes a deeper root system. Zoysia & Bermuda grass should be cut at a height of 1 inch to 2 inches. We will always advise you on proper cutting height.

How often should I mow my lawn?

Never remove more than a third of the of the grass blade in any one mowing. We recommend returning the clippings (mulching) into the lawn, as this provides valuable nutrients and moisture for healthy growth. This practice reduces the need for additional watering and lawn fertilization. With that said, mow your lawn at least once per week. During periods of heavy growth, some warm season lawns may need to be mowed more often.

Why can't I get grass to grow under my trees?

Grass requires adequate sunlight for growth. Shade from the trees does not allow adequate light for healthy growth. Tree roots also compete for valuable nutrients and water. While fescue tolerates some shade, it still requires sunlight. We will make recommendations for these areas in your lawn.

Does my lawn receive the same materials as my neighbors?

No, we customize every visit to every customer.
